6 (4)Week Course - Handbuilding
This 3 hour weekly course is ideal if you are a complete beginner or know the basics of handbuilding
When: Tuesdays 10am - 1pm Cost: £195 (£155)
With the guidance of our excellent tutor you will follow Claypit mini-projects and develop your own creative ideas
Come and join us on this weekly course where you will spend time learning about the slower, relaxing and intuitive ways of working with clay. You will have the opportunity to coil, slab and pinch and sculpt your creations. You will spend time leaning how to decorate with colour or without, including glazing. We love both minimal and maximal! Each session will include demonstrations and lots of individual support so you can work at your own pace. You are welcome to take this course multiple times to grow your skills and confidence. Maximum class size of 8. Suitable for adults and children 11+ with an accompanying paying adult. Firing Charges:
Only pay for what you chose to fire. Your creations will be weighed by us after firing and charged at £1.30 per 100g, payable by card on collection. An average size mug will cost around £3,50 bowl £5, jug £6, vase £7.
